Founded in 1992, Fuega Sativa is the creative brainchild of Martine Caouette. Martine is proud of maintaining Fuega Sativa as a Canadian-based enterprise, which manufactures its own line of clothing from imported Chinese hemp/cotton material.

In choosing to work with hemp, Fuega Sativa demonstrates our commitment to being a business with an environmental and social conscience. We know that being eco-wise by today's standards can mean style, fashion, and comfort. Our entire production process reflects this belief. In fact, we have gained a reputation for continually creating unique and bold designs, while never compromising comfort.

At Fuega Sativa, we invest ourselves in researching consumer trends and incorporating these aspects into our designs. From this initial 'concept' stage, we then move forward to 'production'. This includes creation of patterns, cutting, sewing, and dyeing the items to our selected colours. We take great care to ensure our finished product meets our own high standards, and our professional approach continues until our product reaches you.
